Mac Studio Fix Fluid Review

I am a fan of MAC especially with their eyeshadows and lipsticks. I never get the chance to test their foundation for some unknown reason. But recently I went to MAC and I was actually looking for a blush but when I saw their line of foundation, I thought that I need to buy one and test it for myself since I read somewhere that it's a good foundation. So, I bought it.

Now, I have been using this foundation for almost a month now and I can say that I am truly impressed with this. This foundation provides medium - heavy coverage and it has this natural matte finish which suits for my combination - oily skin. A little drop of this foundation goes a long way and it is easy to blend  and what surprise me most, I did not break out from using this.

What I don't like from this is, it doesn't include a pump and the texture of this one is really thick..
But overall, I like this product and would repurchase again. However if I emptied this, I might try other foundation like the Nars sheer glow or the Chanel Vitalumiere.

Etude House False Lashes

I got this few days ago and I was intrigued by it since Ana (anavictorin0) from youtube mentioned that she wanted to try this out for the longest time and she used this for one of her fotd. And I personally think that it look great on her.

So, when I saw this at Etude House, I immediately bought it and it's priced at P128. When I went home, I tried it and it's actually good. The lashes itself are nice and it gives volume but I am not really liking it because it is stiff and it pokes my inner eye area.

The lash glue is in color light blue and the color fades away after one minute. The glue doesn't stick very well on my eyes, and my false lashes keeps on falling apart. Also, I find the glue irritates my skin..
And I think it would be better if I just buy the trustee duo glue since it got many good feed backs.

Overall, I personally think that this lashes are just good for any fotd shoot, but when you use this for special occassion I wouldn't recommend it since it's just synthetic plus it's stiff and pokes like a bee.

Maybelline Hypersharp Liner Review

After all the raves about the Maybelline gel liner, the company came up with another version of eyeliner. And it's called the Maybelline hypersharp liner. This is actually a pen type - in which, it allows you to create that edgy lined eyes.

I thought that the company did a brilliant job for creating such product. I myself is a user of their gel liner and I must say that it works pretty well. However, sometimes I just find it very heavy on my eyes and I would prefer to use something soft looking eyeliner like a liquid liner, but I just suck at it. And then I heard there are  kinds of pen type, but I refrain myself from buying because those kind of stuffs that can only be bought online. I'm not against buying online, I just want to test the product first before buying.

Luckily, my friend of mine, told me that there's a new eyeliner from Maybelline. I thought that it's gonna be a liquid liner. But boy, was I wrong. When I checked it out at the department store, it's the type of  liner that I'm looking for! It's like the one from K-palette or Dolly wink! So, I mmediately bought it.

The packaging is pretty simple though. What can I ask for? It's just a pen! lol. Anyway, I like it that the packaging isn't tacky as I thought. It's professional looking type of pen, I tell you.

On to the swatches, it's pretty decent. I was able to create lines and shapes with this.
I just find it that I have to shake the pen first before I use it, so that more ink will come through but that's no biggie at all!

Overall, I find this product pretty decent for its price and most likely, I would repurchase this eyeliner pen. And yes, I would definitely recommend this to those who aren't that good in lining their eyes as this gives so much control and would glide into the skin smoothly.

How about you, do have this kind of eyeliner? What are your thoughts? Let me know!

Sleek Blush Review

Top to bottom: Flamingo, Coral and Life's a peach

I am so glad that I got my hands on these blushes! I love it's packaging. It's sleek and black and when you open it, it has mirror on it which is pretty decent. The size of this one is quite small compared to nars blush.
The texture of the packaging is rubbery matte which I don't really like because it tends to smudge and it easily get scratched.

The powder itself has great pigmentation although I find life's a peach tends to be chalky on me. However, these have great quality and it applies smoothly and evenly on cheeks! Great blush!

In before you ask, my favorite shade is coral.
It's really gorgeous on my skin shade. My skin shade is NC 30-35

How about you, have you tried any of sleek's blushes? How was it? What's your favorite shade? Let me know!

Ben Nye Luxury Powder

I believe some of you already know what this is for but for those who isn't much a makeup enthusiast, let me give a brief introduction and review for this product.

Description:

Formerly known as Visage Poudre Luxury Powders, these ultra-neutral powders provide superior matte and subtle finishing. Often compared to French powders with silky-fine textures. the Ben Nye Bella line of powders are translucent with just a hint of color

This stuff is amazing! I must say this gotta be my holygrail for setting powders. I already road tested this and guess what? It really did deliver the promise of giving you that matte effect. This product helped my oils at bay. I can tell from the first time I use this, I only blot once and after that.. my make up was still in great condition. One tip though, apply this powder very lightly as this may get too powdery on your face.

Overall, I love this stuff although it has parabens on it - so for those who doesn't like it, I must say be wary! Nonetheless, it's a great product and totally worthy of your money and makes a good investment.
