Review: Dermacolor Fixing Powder

What is it: Dermacolor Fixing Powder waterproofs, sets and mattes Camouflage Cream.
Available in P1 white, P2 light, P3 light beige, P4 soft brown, and P5 dark

Initially, I was looking for a setting powder - that should lasts on me without retouching. And I wouldn't lie, I read about this Dermacolor from Camille from littlebeautybag, and I was sold by her review when she said it's waterproof! and It can make your make-up stay matte. Seriously, It's like An Anti-shine with water-proofing ingredients in it. And I said to myself, I have to have it!

I found it worked well on me by making my skin not sweaty anymore, a bit more brighter, and it kept my makeup looking fresh throughout half of the day. What I liked was that it felt like an extremely lightweight powder. It also has a micro-shimmers on it, but it’s so subtle I hardly notice it.

The packaging is simple but effective.  I feel like a little goes a long way, so this tube\ should last me six months or longer of regular usage.

Pros:
Sweatproof!
Comes in a very big tub
Powder is finely milled - This is really important for smooth applications
Instantly brightens your face - I believe it has this micro-shimmers on it, unnoticeable I must say.
Affordable Php1,350

Cons:
Matte-ness doesn't stay for long

Overall, I love this product even if it doesn't control my oiliness that long. I would be repurchasing this again if ever I ran out of this.

Murdered Brushes!

My poor Mac 219 Brush and Etude stippling brush got murdered by my babies! waaaaaa. . . .
It woke me up when I saw my brushes laid down on the floor and saw those tiny bits of wood scattered on the floor. waaa, couldn't help looking at it. I almost cry.. poor brushes...

I didn't know my baby (black shih tzu) sleeps on top of my vanity table. waaaaaa. I have all my brushes on top of my vanity table, but. .  . . . why chose my MAC brush? Why not the cheapo brush? waaaa...  Look what koko did to my brushes!

TheFaceShop: False Eyelashes

I heard about this false eyelashes from Nikki of Askmewhats - And according from her, this is your best bet when you want achieve a natural lashes that is not so over-dramatic, just perfect for everyday looks.

Based on my own experience, I have to agree with nikki, this is a natural looking lashes considering it has this criss-cross cut, but I bet you, once you tried this on, It instantly gives you full lashes but very natural looking.

( Left - without falsies; Right - with falsies )

Been using this over a past 2 weeks now, and I got some compliment/s, asking if my lashes were extensions.. They were a bit surprised when I said this are just falsies.. Anyhow.. One thing that I didn't like about this is, the glue that came with it, I felt it was the glue I used when I was in my Elementary. . It failed big-time. It made my eyes irritated..

And I just replaced that glue with this. .
Cinema Secret's spirit gum. I love using this, aside from it's transparency, It's very easy to apply, just one sweep to the rim of the lashes and wait for like 30-60seconds to dry it up, and voila you can now stick it to your line closer to your lashes. Just in case, there is an alignment problem, worry no more, because you can always remove it and stick it again, you don't need to re-apply again. :)

**This spirit gum costs for like Php127.00
** TFS False lashes costs Php 115.00

Review: Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Phoenix

This is my first CHANEL lipstick. I can say that I am very pleased to have this, not because of the brand itself but I am quite impressed with the quality of this..

Packaging:
The packaging isn't unique because it's similar to a regular lipgloss but it has this elegant and sophisticated style because the lacque is made of glass? - I don't know, but it feels like a glass. hahaha.

Color:
The color isn't bold, good enough to wear this lacque daytime and nighttime. Pigmentation is not intense like any other lipstick, but I believe you can build this color if you want more dramatic feel into your lips. I prefer using this like a lip stain,  - It gives me that pinky, healthy looking lips. :)

Texture:
It glides into my lips smoothly. And based to my experience, this lacque lasted on me for like 3hours.(without eating and drinking)

CONS:
  • I find this lacque very expensive! with the price of this lacque, you could actually buy 2 lipsticks from MAC. right? But I'm not regretting to have this, - I love this to bits.
  • This lacque has weird smell. Talk about grandma's perfume. lol.
***Sorry if I took so long to review this, My brother in-law borrowed my camera, and I couldn't review without pictures to show. **** Peace!

My Pink traincase

I am planning to enroll to a make-up school soon, that is why I bought this super cute pink diva traincase from legally vain.

I am so inlove with this traincase, it screams femininity, fashionable. . just perfect to tote this along to my make up school. I adore this more because it's light weight (made of veneer wood), it has lock - talk about anti-theft! :)

Unfortunately, I have to sell this cutiepie. why? because before I purchased this, I'm asking my husband to get me a trolley traincase, and little did i know, he surprised me! he bought my ultimate dream traincase and it's the same as fafinettex from youtube! I am so ecstatic when he told me about it. - he said.. " That traincase is cute, but what I got for you is wayyy wayy cuter than that.. and I was like.. what are you talking about? and then he finally said .. I asked my uncle to get the trolley of your dream, just for you.. oh my! I'm sooo excited!!!!

So, If anyone from my local readers wants to get this please let me know, Price is: 1600 :) Diva traincase is almost brand new, I got this 2 days ago. :)
